Anwar to 'strongly defend' Saiful's 'baseless & absurd' lawsuit - Latheefa

I refer to the civil suit filed by Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan against opposition leader Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur High Court.

This claim is absurd and has no basis whatsoever. It arises from sodomy allegations fabricated by the UMNO/BN regime against Anwar.

This vicious political conspiracy has been totally rejected by the people; and the Anwar-led Pakatan Rakyat won 51 percent of the vote in GE- 13.

Anwar Ibrahim has filed appearance in court and will strongly defend this action.
