Don’t fall for DAP’s Malay sirens, Umno warns

An Umno supreme council member has warned Malay youth from falling for the young female Malay DAP members the party is “using” to attract Malays to the party.

Irmohizam Ibrahim, who is also Kuala Selangor MP, told Umno Online that the DAP’s “tactic” involving young Malay women is part of a two-pronged “silent strategy”.

He said that DAP realises that it cannot forever rely on its Pakatan partners PAS and PKR for Malay support.

“DAP is increasingly desperate for Malay support so they are using this approach, knowing that Malay youths are easily influenced.

“I am sure we do not want to see this country ruined due to the mistake made by obsessed youth, who are not vigilant against DAP’s trickery,” he was quoted as saying.

Therefore, he urges Malay youths to study DAP’s history so that their judgement is not clouded by the young Malay women that DAP put on show.

DAP has recently introduced a number of its young Malay female members, including its Teluk Intan by-election candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud and party newbie Young Syefura Othman.
