IPOH - Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has asked those who questioned the national mourning ceremony on Friday, held in respect of Malaysians perished in the MH17 tragedy to stop it.
He said such an issue should not arise at all.
He said the ceremony was not only recognised by Malaysians but also people from various parts of the world.
"It was a simple and dignified ceremony in honour of the dead.
"No one should question it at all," he said after officiating the Ipoh Timur Umno division delegates conference here.
Earlier, those present recited the Al-Fatihah for those who perished in the MH17 tragedy. -NST
