Political parties who champion the
"Malaysian Malaysia" concept have exploited the rakyat’s confusion over
the Federal Constitution.
This was among the findings in the draft of a memorandum prepared by the multi-NGO coalition, the National Unity Front (NUF).
The NUF's memorandum committee chairperson Ibrahim Ali said the draft of memorandum will be given to NUF chairperson former chief justice Abdul Hamid Mohamad for review.
'Malaysian Malaysia' is the DAP's slogan, to denote equality for all Malaysians.
The NUF was formed as an alternative to the federal government-endorsed National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC), which has been accused of threatening the special position of Islam and Malays.
