OUCH! My privates hurt

A fun project turns sour for a young man who experiments with a metal ring on his privates.

KOTA BHARU: A 23-year-old youth got more than he bargained for when a metal ring which he shoved his private part through “out of fun” lodged itself stubbornly at the tip.

In the 5pm incident on Saturday at Kampung Dewa Beta, the victim attempted to remove the object forcibly, which made matters worse, as the sensitive organ started to swell.

He bore the agony in silence for 11 hours before finally swallowing his embarrassment to ask his father to send him to Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II, around 3am the following day (Sunday).

His misery did not end there.

The doctor was not able to remove the ring, according to Kota Bharu Fire and Rescue chief Jamil Abdullah who came to render assistance.

“The doctor could not do anything because of the swelling and sought our help (Emergency Medical Rescue Services – EMRS)”.

According to Jamil, the department dispatched a team of four to the hospital upon receiving a call at 7.25am.

“The EMRS team took two hours to slice through the ring using a ring cutter.

“The process had to be very precise to avoid injuring the victim,” he said.

Jamil said the victim was under anaesthesia and so was unconscious throughout the procedure.

“It is the first of such a case in the state,” he added. – BERNAMA
