The Registrar of Societies (ROS) has summoned PKR over its disciplinary board's action, believed to be over the sacking of Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
PKR disciplinary board chairperson Tan Kee Kwong (left) confirmed receiving the letter from ROS.
However, he told Malaysiakini that the letter did not mention Khalid’s sacking from the party on Aug 9.
"The ROS summoned the party over the alleged wrongdoing of the disciplinary board and the central leadership," he said.
He added that the meeting would take place at the ROS headquarters in Putrajaya tomorrow at 10am.
Following his sacking, Khalid had filed a complaint with the ROS, claiming that his dismissal was wrongful and violated the party's constitution.
