Teng accuses Khalid of DISHONESTY, points out timing discrepancy despite cover-up efforts by BN media
SHAH ALAM - The on-going political drama received an unexpected twist of comedic moment when the still-stunned former DAP state executive council member Teng Chang Kim accused the Menteri besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim of dishonesty.
The now embattled Teng even insinuated that Khalid had sacked the PKR and DAP excos before receiving consent from the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharifuddin Idris Shah, yesterday.
"Khalid claimed that the letter was sent to the Sultan at 2pm and the Sultan replied two hours later. He said that the letter was sent in response to our joint statement but the statement was only released at 4:30pm so how did Khalid manage to send letter to Sultan before receiving the exco's joint statement?" He said.
When asked whether it's possible that Khalid, as a former PKR member himself, could have access to the statement before it was released by the media, Teng kept mum and said that he wouldn't know if it's true or not and it is now up to Khalid to substantiate his story.
The former local government and research Exco was also involved in a verbal banter with members of the media during the press conference when he claimed that Khalid was being inconsistent with the actual number of excos sacked.

"Yesterday he said that six excos were fired but in a press conference earlier today he said only five. How can that be?"
Teng was immediately corrected by the media present who claimed that Khalid said all excos from PKR and DAP were fired except Rodziah.
He then accused the media portals of trying to confuse him as he claimed they reported six instead of five. A reporter came forward and told Teng that the claim that six excos were fired was based on a press conference by Pakatan last night.
Stunned by the discovery of his own confusion, Teng said that Pakatan thought that six of its Exco members were sacked based on online news reports which begged the question as to whether the political coalition would want to look into improving it's fact-checking abilities in the future. -NST
