KJ, it’s not Anwar but judiciary on trial

YOURSAY ‘Why did your boss meet Saiful, a university dropout?’

KJ: Anwar, not gov't on trial in Sodomy II

Ferdtan: Minister of Sports and Youth Khairy Jamaluddin, isn’t your boss PM Najib Razak ‘involved’ with the sodomy case when the complainant Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan went to the then DPM’s house to meet him?

Saiful is obviously a willing ‘tool’. Why this important meeting was kept secret; only coming out with it in public when exposed? Why was the number one police chief, the inspector-general of police (IGP), also in contact with the university dropout?

Why was Saiful, an ordinary person, so important to be given so much attention and resources against the opposition leader?

Five years had passed after the incident and do you hear how Saiful had managed to make his living? He even had a lavish wedding. Not bad for an unemployed man.

If ever Putrajaya were to fall to Pakatan Rakyat, Saiful and his conspirators must be made to face justice and be punished. No forgiveness here.

Not Smart: Of course, the government is on trial and the world is watching.

Earlier, the High Court had decided in favour of Anwar. However, the Court of Appeal had decided otherwise.

It was then apparent to the world that this was again orchestrated when the hearing was brought forward and rushed through in view of Kajang's by-election.

If Anwar is found guilty it will not be a surprise to the world. KJ, this is all about Putrajaya.

Speaking Sense: Where is the credibility when you waste money and resources just to harass Anwar - hiring private prosecutors, appealing on behalf of Saiful, charging defence counsels for sedition?

And Khairy, show some brains or at least grant us some brains. Civil cases of defamation are a far cry from criminal cases of political persecution by Umno, so spare us the comparison.

Telestai!: Anwar is accused of an act that will definitely not reach its present stage if Umno isn't behind it.

A man with a bad back aged more than 60 years sodomising a young man who went to the police after two days without going to the toilet. And the DNA sample extracted was in pristine condition.

Conspiracy is crystal clear hence the government is on trial.
Stig: The government has already lost its credibility in GE13 when 53 percent of voters voted against them.

So no, this week is not a trial on the government's credibility. Instead, all eyes will be trained on the judiciary - to see whether justice is indeed seen to be served. -Mkini
