Not wrong for Rafizi to hold two posts

Anwar Ibrahim says the party's constitution allows any member to hold two posts.
anwar-rafiziKUALA LUMPUR: The appointment of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president Rafizi Ramli as the party’s secretary-general does not go against the PKR constitution.
PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said this was because the party’s constitution allowed any member to hold two posts in the party.
“It is the party president who appointed Rafizi as secretary-general. It’s a good decision and there is no ruling that prevents it,” he told reporters when met at the Parliament lobby, here, today.
Yesterday, PKR announced Rafizi’s appointment as the party’s secretary-general to replace Datuk Saifuddin Nasution Ismail who has been appointed as the co-elections director together with another PKR vice-president, Nurul Izzah Anwar.
On PAS’ decision to suspend the party membership of two of its Selangor assemblymen, Anwar said it was not a problem as the two were still PAS members.
The two PAS assemblymen, Saari Sungib (Hulu Kelang) and Hasnul Baharuddin (Morib), had their party memberships suspended for a year effective yesterday for going against the party’s decision to support Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to remain as Selangor menteri besar.
Saari and Hasnul had instead chosen to support PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the candidate for the post of menteri besar. – Bernama
