MALAYS DEFINED BY CONSTITUTION! Ex-CJ, the real ‘Red Indians’ are the Orang Asal

MALAYS DEFINED BY CONSTITUTION! Ex-CJ, the real ‘Red Indians’ are the Orang Asal
‘The real threat to the Malays are people who support Umno and Perkasa.’
Unafraid: Clearly there is a concerted effort to emphasise the Ketuanan Melayu concept more and more. The way to do it is to demonise the Chinese as if they are the enemies of the Malays. This is very dangerous and totally unjustified because the Chinese in Malaysia nor in DAP never question the privileges accorded to the Malays nor at any time want to take over the country at the expense of the Malays.
To even suggest that is very mischievous and to come from a former chief justice (CJ) is absolutely despicable. The way to continue to garner Malay support is to weave a story that they are under threat from the Chinese. How low can they go to achieve their diabolical ends?
Mushiro: Politics is definitely not the forte of former CJ Abdul Hamid Mohamad. Nor is justice, honesty, sincerity and even common sense. A former judge is supposed to lead a retired life with refined decorum - not to venture into partisan politics.
For all practical purposes, Malays have been treated like 'Red Indians' by the elite Umno Malays who act and behave like colonials masters. The Malay 'Red Indians' are given Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) and National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) loans for which they are made to pay back early in their working life and given a few other pittance and lots of future promises.
And Umno has been raping these 'Red Indians' for 57 years and doing worse to Sabahans and Sarawakians. How will PAS joining Umno help the Malays, when Umno during its peak strength was busy helping only themselves. It is not a perception that Umno is corrupted but a FACT and entrenched deep in every hierarchy, division and branch of Umno. Only Pakatan has the will, energy and sincerity to rid this 'Red Indians' syndrome from Malays and Malaysians.
Proarte: Malays are never going to be the 'Red Indians' of Malaysia because their numbers are increasing and has reached an unprecedented 70 percent of the population. In fact, Malays are 'pendatangs' like the rest of the races, namely the Chinese and Indians in Malaysia relative to the Orang Asal. It is the Orang Asal of the peninsula whose plight can be equated to that of the 'Red Indians' in USA.
When will this ex-CJ who is a disgrace to his profession stop spewing his totally dishonest and racist drivel? The real threat to the Malays are people like Abdul Hamid who support Umno and extreme Malay organisations like Perkasa. Umno is a party which plunders the nation to the tune of billions on a yearly basis, money which should be used to uplift poor Malays.
Malays instead are brainwashed into believing in imaginary enemies by Umno and PAS who are the self-proclaimed 'protectors' of the Malays and their faith. Malays are increasingly seeing through this sham scenario and are rejecting Umno and PAS.
Senior: DAP threaten Malays? Is it a joke? Umno Baru is the cause of Malays problems because it siphoned away the benefits of the Malays for themselves and bumiputera wannabes in their party. The real Malays are kept poor and misinformed so that they can continue doing so.
Dont Just Talk: Such words coming out from the mouth of an ex-chief justice Abdul Hamid Mohamad are shocking and is it any wonder why the majority of Malaysians have little faith in the Judiciary system. The number of occasions when the Court of Appeal sat, with few at very short notice and another sitting late into the night hearing YB Anwar Ibrahim’s sodomy appeal, cast doubts into the mind of fair Malaysians.
How can DAP attain federal power with the Chinese voters at less than 25 percent, unless Abdul Hamid considers PAS Malays as stupid or others can be bought. Finally, this sly, cunning fox-ex CJ Abdul Hamid used his warped coaxing that PAS and Umno Baru must join hands to ensure that the rights of Malays and Muslims are not threatened by DAP. Are the rights of Malays and Muslims really threatened and by whom?
To rational, literate Malaysians, the three fingers are pointing to that fella who made such racist statements, despite once holding such a high position in the judiciary, what a shameful legacy this ex-CJ left behind.
War Child: This former CJ is again trying to raise a false alarm among the Malays. The DAP cannot attain federal power on its own, it has to share power at best. Presently it appears to dominate in urban areas but eventually the rural urban drift will ensure the increase of more Malay MPs in urban constituencies. I hope these new urban MPs are from PKR and not Umno Baru.
By then the learned ex-CJ may not be around any more. Meanwhile ex-CJ Hamid is perhaps hoping for directors' posts in government-lnked companies (GLCs) from Umno Baru
No man is indispensable: I am shocked at the extraordinary intelligence of the learned ex-chief justice. Abdul Hamid will be a very happy man if the Malays accept Ketuanan Melayu. He will be extremely happy and supportive if the Malay cronies steal money and bankrupt the nation like what is happening in the Philippines.
Abdul Hamid must ask the Malays who migrate and leave the nation the reason for doing so. The Red Indians had no New Economic Policy. The majority of the Red Indians had no flashy cars or had huge bungalows or mansions and two or three wives and mistresses. Red Indians were not given huge handouts and controlled the banks or powered the GLC companies.
In time to come with all the unfair practices, the yellow Chinese and the black Indians will be like Red Indians. The Indians live like beggars in the country. Many of them don't have even birth certificates. Who are the majority richest people in this country? The Malays, my dear ex-CJ. And who build this country?
Blackmoon: In the 15 years of Malaysiakini’s existence, it has contributed to the increase in racial tension and hatred among the Malays and the Chinese in this country. We do not have to look very far... just take a look here in Malaysiakini forums. And out there, NGOs from different sides are at each other’s throat. Steven Gan cannot deny this fact and it is a shame for Steven and his team to be proud of this "achievement".
Sleepy: Substitute Blackmoon's ‘Malays’ with ‘Umno Malays’. That is what this idiot wants to convey.
Shanandoah: Malays are already like the Red Indians on a larger scale. Led by Umno Baru it is so big that it seems normal to be like them in special positions and reservations of all kinds. They were protected to such an extent that they could not compete and keep up with progress. The Malays are facing a similar fate by being led by their racist leaders. While communities can be helped they must not become helpless by doing so!
Not Confused: What a strange and twisted mind this ex-CJ has. It’s a blessing that he no longer sits on the bench! With Malays currently forming two-thirds of the population, how on earth could they become ‘Red Indians’ in Malaysia? It’s the most ridiculous, pathetic statement to come out of the mouth of this has-been judge.
It’s the likes of him who are soliciting the death knell for BN in the next general election (GE) unless someone up there puts a sock in his too ample mouth!
Anonymous_1389801797: This fellow doesn't know Malaysian history. The Red Indians of this land are the Aborigines in peninsular and North Borneo. Malays had taken their lands and driven them into the jungles just as the whites had done to the native Americans.
Takeiteasy: Malays ' problems are actually very simple and easy to solve, that is not to produce people like Abdul Hamid who are constantly misleading their own kind of people on non-issues so that they miss out the actual target that their problems are in fact due to the non performance of their elected leaders and people like Ah, Ah said this before the Umno assembly for the reasons you and me know!
Swipenter: I didn't know that this ex-CJ is an ardent fan of ‘Cowboys and Red Indians’ comics until now.
Nil: With the things which are going at present, I guess many well informed and thinking Malays would prefer to become ‘Red Indians’... at least, that may be a change for the better... -M'kini
