BUT WERE YOU SODOMIZED OR DID YOU SODOMIZE YOURSELF? 'Victim' Saiful plays for sympathy, claims he has been ignored

BUT WERE YOU SODOMIZED OR DID YOU SODOMIZE YOURSELF? 'Victim' Saiful plays for sympathy, claims he has been ignored
KUALA LUMPUR - After a seven year wait, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan has described this coming Tuesday as an important day for him as it involves his dignity and future.
Writing in his blog today, Saiful said he had faced many a bitter sweet experience.
“I am a victim, but I have been ignored. I am seen as irrelevant and not important.”
Having alleged former deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim of sodomising him seven years ago, Saiful expressed his grievance over the act of certain quarters who he labelled as hypocrites.
Saiful, 30, in his blog Mohd Saiful Bukhari, today stated that the hypocrisy of those who have been shouting demands for a “clean and independent judiciary”, yet called for the Prime Minister’s interference in the much-hyped Sodomy 2 case.
“I felt weird and disgusted when I read Anwar’s statements and many of those who supported the “clean & independent judiciary” asking for the Prime Minister to interfere in the judiciary matters to ensure the acquittal of AI (Anwar Ibrahim).
“In my opinion, that action is clearly against the law. Isn’t that an act of hypocrisy of the highest order? They fought for a clean and independent judiciary, but in my case, they urge for interference,” wrote Saiful.
He pleaded for independence from all influences, pressure from Anwar’s side and political elements in his case against Anwar who was his former employer when the alleged sodomy took place.
Saiful, however, expressed his full confidence that the Federal Court presiding over the case would give a decision that was fair and just in accordance with the law and evidence provided throughout the trial conducted in October last year.
“It is a norm for me in facing a situation to prepare myself for the worst case scenario.
“If it is fated that the decision made is not on my side, I will accept the reality no matter how hard it is for me to carry it as I believe that Allah SWT will not be cruel towards his servant that is fighting for the truth.”
He added that his seven-year fight for justice had not been easy, especially as he was just a “small person” compared to Anwar.
This predicament, Saiful claimed, has resulted in his voice, treatment, justice and concern to be left unattended and perceived as irrelevant.
“It disappoints me when there are many from the ruling and opposition party, independent analysts and the public are more concerned in this case about the political scenario that the truth, facts and my fate is the victim.
“Anyway, I am aware of who I am. I’m just a small person with no interest. Anwar, on the other hand, is a VVIP (very very important person), a political figure that has a lot of interest.”
Anwar, the de facto leader of Opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat, was charged under Section 377B of the Penal Code and found guilty by the Court of Appeal for sodomising his now former aide Saiful.
According to the court report, Anwar had allegedly carried out the offence at Unit 11-5-1, Kondominium Desa Damansara, Jalan Setiakasih, Bukit Damansara on June 26, 2008.
On October last year, the Federal Court heard his appeal to set aside the conviction and jail term.
It was recently announced that the judgment would be delivered on Feb 10. If found guilty, Anwar faces a jail term of up to 20 years, putting a permanent full stop to his political career. - http://www.therakyatpost.com/
