I would not have fixed Anwar even if PM asked me to, says Umno lawyer

‎Speaking at the packed event in Kelana Jaya, Selangor, Shafee said that as a family person, he understood the feelings of Anwar's wife and children, who have to be separated from their father following his conviction for sodomy.
"I would have never agreed to fix Anwar even if the order came from Datuk Seri Najib Razak himself," he said, referring to the prime minister.
The forum tonight saw Shafee reveal lurid details of the case and some appeared not to be part of the evidence presented during the trial.
The crowd of about 300 people reacted with gasps of shock as Shafee dissected the relationship between the complainant, Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan, who was 23 years old then, and Anwar.
Shafee said Anwar had asked Saiful: "Can I f**k you today", which was a loaded statement.
"Saiful and Anwar had carnal intercourse nine times from April 2008 until the last incident on June 26, 2008.
"It showed that Saiful was subservient to the dominant Anwar. He treated his 'coffee boy' as a sex slave," he added.
Saiful, he said, had not consented to be sexually abused but had to surrender to Anwar.
"It was sexual harassment by an employer to an employee in the work place.
"Saiful had even brought the lubricant KY Jelly to avoid pain during the intercourse." he said.
On the day of the last incident, Saiful declined to entertain Anwar's request ‎to have intercourse but he succumbed to the opposition leader who had raised his voice at him.
"‎Anwar is, what they call, a closet homosexual. An open one is not dangerous but a closet homosexual is very dangerous," he said.
"Anwar could be a threat‎ to national security if he held a position in public office."
The DPP said that being a closet gay would render Anwar susceptible to blackmail due to his sexual orientation.
"Can you imagine people like Anwar Ibrahim negotiating a government contract for arms?".
‎He said that as the deputy public prosecutor who conducted the case in the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court, he was convinced that Anwar had indeed sodomised Saiful.
He noted that the first chemist Dr Seah Lay Hong had found Anwar's sperm in Saiful's anus although the swab was taken 56 hours after the incident.
The second chemist, Noraidura Saidon, had developed the DNA and compared it with the sample taken from Anwar's cell where he had been held overnight after his initial arrest on July 16, 2008.
"DNA matches that of Male Y. So how can Anwar's sperm be in Saiful's anus and there was no sperm bank to get his sample," Shafee added.
Shafee said that spine expert Thomas Hogland ‎had testified that Anwar could not have performed the sexual act because of his back problem.
However, he said that a doctor from Hospital Kuala Lumpur – Dr. S. Jayainderan – a rebuttal witness called by the prosecution, told the court that ‎Anwar had admitted to having coitus with his wife (Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail) a week after the incident.
‎"How could he say that he could not have sodomised Saiful because of his back problem and then the next minute, admits that he had intercourse with his wife?" Shafee said.
Anwar was sentenced to five years in prison last week after failing to overturn his sodomy conviction. Without a royal pardon, he will lose his Permatang Pauh parliamentary seat.
