Police seeking 14 more on rumour-mongering

Police issue the names of individuals to assist in investigations regarding rumours circulated during last year’s floods.
skmm_ banjir_300KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is seeking 14 more individuals to assist investigations regarding the spreading of rumours on the flood disaster in the east coast states.
According to a statement by MCMC here last night, the 14 are:
  1. Raja Mohd Haidi bin Raja Daod (Mykad No: 881026-03-5993)
  2. Zawawi bin Mat (MyKad No: 760319-03-6083)
  3. Mohd Bustam bin Omar (MyKad No: 751124-11-5203)
  4. Mohamad Azrani bin Daud (MyKad No: 830228-02-6139)
  5. Mohd Fauzi bin Mohd Azmi (MyKad No: 750629-03-5183)
  6. Mohamad Zamzami bin Yaakob (MyKad No: 670511-03-5145)
  7. El Jiffy bin Abd Aziz (MyKad No: 860327-56-5901)
  8. Yuliza Indriani binti Zulfin (MyKad No: 860103-01-5708)
  9. Farah Wahida binti Abdullah Suhaimi (MyKad No: 841027-03-5104)
  10. Natrah binti Mohamed (MyKad No: 850207-03-5106)
  11. Norazimah binti Zakaria (MyKad No: 850918-02-5916)
  12. Siti Asiah binti Shaary (Mykad no: 931004-03-6154)
  13. Ayub bin Musa (MyKad No: 780410-11-5303)
  14. Nor Azwani binti Saimi (MyKad No: 890330-03-6258)
All of them are requested to urgently contact MCMC investigating officers Mohamad Syukri Jamaluddin (019-2869515) or Rafina Mimi Muhammad (019-2869471).
Meanwhile, MCMC Monitoring and Enforcement Division head, Zulkarnain Mohd Yasin said eight individuals who were earlier called up had given their full cooperation.
He said MCMC was working closely with the police in investigating the spreading of the rumours.
