Teresa's new CNY video: LOVED BY PR SUPPORTERS, HATED BY UMNO-BN SNIPERS

Teresa's new CNY video: LOVED BY PR SUPPORTERS, HATED BY UMNO-BN SNIPERS
This year’s Chinese New Year greeting video by DAP Seputeh Member of Parliament Teresa Kok received mixed reactions from netizens in The Rakyat Post’s Facebook page.
Based on the comments, some either found it funny or tasteless while there were also those who outwardly condemned the video.
For instance, one commenter Thomas Yeoh simply said the video “lacks the kick”, as many people opined that Kok should not be politicking during the festive season.
Neo Ah Eng It is a parody and is both entertaining and educational. Not to mention it is also enlightening!!! Don’t stir up the issue and get her into trouble again. She sure can be a super producer if she is fired as a politician! Congrats YB Teresa Kok!!!
John Lee Whatever it is, it’s the efforts, cooperation, team work, great understanding of various races and respect that sets it high above the best movie ever filmed…bravo!”
Hong Jao Lai I am not a fan of the political scene in Malaysia, but damn, this is funny good.
Putera Shahid Good production skill. Shame it has to be wasted on such cringe comedy. If they would at least try to make it a clean respectful Chinese New Year wish video, I’d have a lot more respect for their modesty.
Tyler Chin Wei Sheng If you want to wish people Happy Chinese New Year, thank you. But stop making everything you do political.
It gets very annoying and makes us doubt the sincerity of your well-wish. Please consider your actions and go appropriately with the seasons.
Jaie Kamil Can’t the politicians just let the younger generation live in harmony and peace?
Athene Parthenos Everything also need to be politicised meh? Fight your political cause on political grounds lah. Stay out from ‘Malaysian’ Festivities can kah? Leave ‘Malaysian culture/traditions’ alone can tak? Enough of your ‘Provocation’ ‘Slurs’ and ‘Games of Divide’ already. I hope all Malaysians will reject this type of political culture. We don’t have to copy everything from other countries! This is Malaysia and we should promote a better healthy political culture and policy the Malaysian way! Thank you.
Morgan Lim Seriously not funny at all. Teresa Kok, stop it. We’ve had enough.
Zeon Tan 52% elect them to do this? Monkey show!
Richard Wong A trouble maker who never learn. You were voted to serve rakyat, not misusing for your own political mileage.
Mike Samaravera Frankly these politicians should not be doing this. Pure stupidity. They should be wiser and look at ways on how to improve our mix society to live in Harmony.
Malik Lah 1 Malaysia??? Only speak in English, Chinese and Malay. Where is the Tamil language? Pity those Indians. Left out. - http://www.therakyatpost.com/
