Handbag and documents found at crash site

Seach efforts to focus on recovering wreckage of down copter
Abdul-Samah-Mat_helikopter_600SEMENYIH: Rain halted search operations at the helicopter crash site here yesterday evening, with 25 items of personal belongings having been retrieved.
Selangor police chief Abdul Samah Mat said a handbag and documents were among the items found. “We can’t disclose the details of the documents,” he said.
Abdul Samah also said that another helicopter was in the air when 9M-IGB, the Dauphin helicopter owned by IGB Corporation, crashed in a rubber smallholding here.
He said the other helicopter 11km away was enroute from Johor to Gombak. “The pilot of this helicopter notified the Subang air traffic control of the crash,” he said, according to Rakyat Post.
Search efforts today, to be handled by civil aviation investigators and the transport ministry would be to recover the wreckage.
The search area would be expanded beyond the current 200m, he said.
Police have so far recorded statements from six members of the public and two officials of the aviation company which operated the helicopter.
All six people on board, including an MP, a businessman, and an aide to the prime minister were killed in the crash.
