PLOT OR DEMOCRATIC RIGHT? Website to send Najib 'proof' of Youth plot to oust him, wants KJ's head
An Umno portal has claimed that it sighted a report which confirmed the allegation that several Umno Youth leaders are plotting against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
MYKMU.net claimed that it saw the report on the Monday meeting which will be sent to Najib and a credible source verified its authenticity.
The portal was responding to Umno Youth exco member Armand Azha Abu Hanifah who denied that the meeting was related to the move against the president.
He said among the issues raised was the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
The portal also questioned Armand's Facebook status which read "loving Umno more than any individual", which was posted after the meeting. It also provided screen captures of the Facebook account.
"They can deny what happened at the meeting. But the report on the meeting together with the Facebook status confirms the move (to oust Najib).
"Perhaps the best way for the five friends to clear their name is to file a police report so a proper investigation can be carried out," it said.
KJ must clear name
Calling on the Umno Youth leaders not to beat around the bush, the portal urged them to declare openly that they do not support the president.
MYKMU.net also told Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin to file a complaint with the disciplinary board to clear the wing's name.
The portal said this would ensure that Khairy is not accused of heading or sponsoring the alleged plot.
After Dr Mahathir Mohamad launched his tirade against Najib, the Umno president met with the respective wings.
He was given a rock star-like reception by Umno Youth, who pledged their undivided support.
Prior to that, Khairy had on two occasions called on Najib to answer the queries raised by the former premier. - M'kini
