Cabinet reshuffle, it matters not to Malaysians – M. Manogaran

There is much speculation that there will a cabinet reshuffle after the Hari Raya holidays. The question on most Malaysians mind is, what does it matter if a cabinet reshuffle takes place? In Malaysia a cabinet reshuffle is done to shore up the prime minister’s hold on government, not to ensure better services to the people.
The cabinet reshuffle will be like reshuffling a deck of old cards that will dish out the same nonsense we are getting from our PM and his cabinet. What we want is a completely new government that has a prime minister who is clean, honest and has the vision to take this country to a better future.
The 1MDB saga has ripped off whatever integrity that was left of our cabinet members. Actually the problem is not the PM alone but the entire cabinet, which has the audacity to fully back the PM who should have stepped down the minute it was exposed that billions went into his personal account.
This being the case, it is immediately theft and fraud. It is as simple as that.
The due process is that he either steps down or goes on leave pending investigations. And why do we need a four-member task force for this? This case should be like  any other criminal case.
Obviously the RM2.6 billion must have been used by all Barisan National candidates in GE13 and a big chunk would have been used by the PM and his cabinet members, which is why they now have to give full backing to their boss, otherwise everything will be exposed.
All cabinet ministers must now declare their assets and also reveal their personal bank account balances together with that of their immediate family members to the public.
This is because it is proven that the PM's wife received RM2 million into her personal account, which is unaccounted for.
All cabinet members must also openly state whether they have any non performing loans with any banks. I personally know of one currently senior serving cabinet member who did not pay back a loan to Affin Bank for several years. The speaker in Parliament, too refused to answer this question. The amount runs into millions.
So for we Malaysians we do not want a cabinet reshuffle, but want a new government, the only way forward is to dissolve Parliament and let the people decide.
