JHO LOW 'IN TAIWAN', WHY NOT SEND INTERPOL? Sarawak Report ups the ante on Zahid, IGP

JHO LOW 'IN TAIWAN', WHY NOT SEND INTERPOL? S'wak Report ups the ante on Zahid, IGP
KUALA LUMPUR - Jho Low, the family friend of Prime Minister Najib Razak and wife Rosmah Mansor, is most likely hiding in Taiwan, where 'link man' Jerome Lee was also headed before being picked up and arrested by Malaysian immigration authorities, said the Sarawak Report.
The whistle-blower website, blocked by the Malaysian internet regulator MCMC, made this claim in its latest expose on the multi-billion dollar 1MDB financial scandal, where RM2.6 billion has been traced to Najib's personal accounts, funneled there via various firms.
All eyes are now on Home Minister Zahid Hamidi and top cop Khalid Bakar on whether they will seek Interpol's help to locate and arrest Jho.
It is ironic as Zahid had just last night vowed to extradite Sarawak Report's editor Clare Brown to face farication and conspiracy charges in Kuala Lumpur.
"Zahid has been very willing to boast in public he will ask for Interpol's help to catch Clare over. Now Clare ups the ante with info on Jho Low's whereabouts - will the Malaysian authorities do the same to catch Jho Low or will they protect him for Najib's sake," an Opposition politician toldMalaysia Chronicle.
Chain of events show data 'CANNOT' have been tampered with
The Sarawak Report's latest article Smear Tactics Cannot Wipe Out Evidence details an explosive chain of events leading to the sale of a package of emails and computer data by former PetroSaudi staff Xavier Justo to some 10 people, who include media tycoon Tong Kooi Ong as well as a man from Najib's own Umno party.
Given the revealing nature of its story, it is perhaps not surprising Sarawak Report is 'down' worldwide, and its founder editor Clare Brown suspecting the work of 'hackers'. The website returned a "service not available" prompt when accessed from all countries this morning.
Day of reckoning closing in on Najib
In its article, Sarawak Report revealed how they - together with members of The Edge media group -  met Justo in Singapore. Justo is now in police custody in Thailand but copies of his material has been given to investigators in the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
Given 1MDB's massive cross-border transactions, this can only spell a day of reckoning in the near future for Najib, who is also under investigation by a high-level Malaysian multi-agency task force.
The website questioned how key figures in the 1MDB sage could mysteriously fly from the nest just as the task force began detaining suspects to help in their probe.
It claimed that Jho's friend Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil had also managed to evade questioning by the task force by disappearing abroad. Nik, according to Sarawak Report, was a key organiser of both 1MDB and of the SRC transfers into the PM’s account
Two other individuals identified by Sarawak Report - Jasmine Loo (former UBG) and Casey Tang (1MDB) - as 'culprits' in the 1MDB debacle have also disappeared and are now being hunted by Bank Negara. - Malaysia Chronicle.
