Malaysians, eager to see if bank details that were published in an exposé by whistle blower site Sarawak Report yesterday really belonged to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, have been transferring RM1 to the prime minister's wife account.
They then shared pictures of their online and cash deposit machine transactions on social media, noting that the said account really did belong to Rosmah, who was alleged to have had RM2 million transferred  into her personal account.
Sarawak Report said yesterday that the money was deposited into her account in Affin Bank Berhad in eight deposits within 2½ months earlier this year by an individual named Roslan Sohari.
Kuang Keng Kuek Ser said through his Twitter handle ‏@kuangkeng that he had deposited RM1, the minimum amount needed to make a transfer, into Rosmah's account and shared a picture of the transaction.
"I just transferred RM1 to confirm the Affin bank account exposed by @sarawak_report belongs to a Rosmah Binti Mansor," he said.
Haziq Asyraf Jr made a similar transaction and he, too, shared a photo of the transfer on the social networking site.
"TAHUKAH ANDA : Testing transfer duit RM1 ke dalam akaun Ibu Rosmah Mansor." (DO YOU KNOW: Testing a RM1 money transfer into Mother Rosmah Mansor's account).

Other social media users who heard about this, had mixed reactions, with several joking that the prime minister's wife could have an additional RM1 million transferred by the time all the "testings" are done.
"I really wanna know, how much exactly hv been transferred to Rosmah's accr since the expose? RM1 per Malaysian.. we hv a lot of Malaysians," said Radiance Leong.
Bash Rahman posted: "Account could have an additional RM1 million by the end of the day after all the RM1.00 deposits." — Eric."
Others asked those transferring money into Rosmah's account to give them the money instead while many also criticised them for this.
"Umm, while y'all putting RM1 into Rosmah's account to prove a point and all, can y'all also transfer RM1 to my account? Come one, come all!," said ‏@__ruzanna.
Syalestia, tweeting from ‏@SyasyaZainuddin said: "Why are people transfering RM1 into Rosmah's account? Give it to me instead lah!"
"Ok, we gettit. The account belongs to Rosmah. Can ppl stop transferring RM1 to her account now? Want to just hand over your money izzit?!" said Zoe Randhawa.
