Saturday Lite : How to make the Cabinet boys understand the negative effects of falling Ringgit

Stupid statement after stupid statement is coming out of the Cabinet boys, especially the UMNO ministers that the economy is in good shape, the falling Ringgit is good for the economy  etc etc.

I was wondering how to penetrate the thick skulls of these morons. Well actually how to penetrate the  tempurung that covers their thick skulls.

Here are some pictures that speak a thousand words.

The first here is a news clip from Suara Rakyat (SR). It says that due to the falling Ringgit,  umrah packages have increased in prices by 30%.  It also says that the Malaysian Ringgit is no more accepted by money changers and banks in Saudi Arabia.

So I hope the Cabinet boys, especially the UMNO morons, can understand this. Now 1MDB has to spend 30% more money to fund those 'free' pilgrimage trips to Saudi Arabia as part of their CSR.

This year Tabung Haji will also have to ask the pilgrims to fork out at least 30% more money to visit Saudi Arabia.  Thats what happens when the Ringgit falls. I hope the UMNO ministers can understand the dangers of a falling Ringgit a little better now.

If they still cannot understand, here is another example that should penetrate their tempurung skulls. Because the Ringgit is falling so much and so fast, money changers and banks in Manila in the Philippines have also stopped accepting our Ringgit from a few months back. Malulah Malaysia. Even the Philippines dont want to exchange our currency.

The following is a Money Changer's display in Singapore. Someone sent it in. The exchange rates of various foreign currencies are listed.

Please note that there is no rate quote for the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).  Instead it says 'POA'.

Mat Maslan hang tahu tak apa maksud 'poa'? Bukan nama girlpren tok hang bro.

POA means 'Price On Application'. It means kena tanya harga dulu. Sebab depa pun tak tahu harga. Sebab the value of the Ringgit keeps falling, by the minute, so they cannot put it up on the display.

That means the Ringgit is highly unpredictable. It is a falling currency.  Tak ada stable value.

I hope the Cabinet boys, particularly the UMNO morons can understand the severity of the situation.

Kalau masih tak faham, here is one more example. This is a photoshopped picture. The girls are real (dont know if they are real Indons) but that message is just a one liner ok.

I think this example will suit the UMNO boys better. Those UMNO boys who frequent the dangdut clubs will understand this better.

Since the Ringgit is falling, even foreign workers in Malaysia will be tempted to return home. Because what they earn in Malaysia is becoming less and less when converted to their own money.

So the girls are saying, 'nanti Ringgit Malaysia sudah ok, kita ketemu lagi'.

And to all the bakal bini-bini tua in UMNO, selamatlah ngko orang - buat seketika. With the Ringgit falling, there will be less kahwin lari cases (to Indonesia and Thailand).

These are among the negative effects of a falling Ringgit ok. Kalau masih tak faham, I will try to get more examples later.
