YOURSAY ‘It's refreshing that Umno still have members like Anina.’

'Najib hallucinating that three million support him'

Ratbatblue: It’s encouraging to note that there was someone who actually had the gumption to stand up and call a spade a spade, not being a sycophant, and really worried about the direction the country was heading.

And I am also very pleasantly surprised that this person was a young politician, a future leader of the nation. She was even prepared to be expelled from the party for exercising her right to show her displeasure against the party’s boss.

Sigh! I guess her days in the party could be numbered if Umno’s standard operating procedure of crushing any dissent is followed.

Maybe this could be the cue for more young politicians to take appropriate action to shape their own destinies. After all, they have the right to chart their own future, haven't they?

Unafraid: My heartiest congratulations to Langkawi Umno delegate Anina Saaduddin for her courage and honesty.

In spite that she is a woman, she figuratively has what a lot of men do not have, especially those Umno cabinet ministers.

She has indeed spoken out loud and clear what is in the mind of most of the rakyat in Malaysia.

My prayer is that Anina has set the precedence and would encourage a lot more to voice out our frustrations at what is happening to our beloved nation before it sinks any further.

The nation is in dire crisis. We need more voices like Anina's to speak out without fear or favour to save the country.

Headhunter: It's refreshing that Umno still have members like Anina who could think for themselves and have the courage to speak up.

She's better than the thick skin sycophants surrounding PM Najib Razak and who blindly support him even though they don't believe his innocence. But how many like her are left in the party?

CQ Muar: This feisty lady is an exceptionally rare jewel amongst the three million Umno members allegedly 'supporting' Najib.

She has spoken and expressed her true sentiments and feelings as a caring member of Umno, unlike others who are too 'afraid' to offend the PM for one reason or other.

Instead of criticising and condemning her for not toeing the party line, she ought to be looked upon as a courageous defender that Umno members ought to be.

To Anina of Langkawi, I salute your bravery and conviction as a leader of exceptional quality.

Magnus: Anina, why not write to the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and ask him whether he knows about the whopping RM2.6 billion political donation that was made to Umno in 2013 by some incredibly generous Arab from somewhere in the Middle East?

The ROS will be able to check your query out easily and will no doubt, take follow-up action if he can't find the details in his records.

PM's Mid-East connections raised in civil suit

Frank: A triangle of deceits - the you-know-who, the bedouins from the Arab Peninsula (earlier from Saudi Arabia and recent ones from UAE) and the Penang guy.

And, each and/or combination of them has done this before to us and people from other countries? Their win in the general election is null and void.

Malaysians until now have been the losers. This is a new dawn for many but the day of reckoning for some... It couldn't have happen sooner.

Rupert16: Najib has been given enough rope to hang himself.

The RM2.6 billion into his personal bank accounts, which we now know that even his ex-DPM and other senior leaders in his party were unaware until this was exposed by Sarawak ReportThe Wall Street Journal and The Edge, proved that this is indeed the case.

It’s good that the rakyat are continuing to put pressure on him for his allegedly corrupt act in this massive scam involving rakyat's money. Eventually we all want to see him behind bars.

Kak Kiah: Imagine, if opposition leaders Abdul Hadi Awang, Lim Kit Siang or Anwar Ibrahim had received RM2.6 billion from unnamed donors from overseas, what would the police, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), Bank Negara have done?

What would our newspapers, TV1, 2, 3 have said?

Headhunter: By his own admission, Najib has committed many offences including allegedly bribing his way to win an election.

It's only natural for the opposition to throw the book at him. They should not let him off too easily.

Scandalcountry: Najib will, of course, try to strike out the law suit because he will find it hard to respond to it in court. And we shall see how our independent judiciary will react. -Mkini
