Amiruddin Sulaiman, 49, flashed his penis at the security guard on Sunday evening after being denied entry into the singer’s house.
PETALING JAYA: A man, irritated at being denied entry into the house of Malaysian celebrity singer Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin has been jailed for flashing his penis at the security guard manning the premises.
In a report in The Star Online, Amiruddin Sulaiman, 49, had gone to Siti’s house in Bukit Antarabangsa last Sunday at 5pm and asked permission to go inside.
However the security guard on duty at the time denied him entry, after which Amiruddin flashed his penis at the 61-year-old Indonesian named Alias.
In the magistrate’s court on Wednesday, Amiruddin was found guilty of the offence and fined RM5,000 or six months’ jail.
However since he was unable to settle the fine, Amiruddin was ordered instead to serve the jail sentence.
In mitigation, his lawyer, Dony Abdullah, said Amiruddin was an unemployed widower with two children, aged 19 and 21, and that this was his first offence.
Deputy public prosecutor Norhashimah Hashim however asked for the full jail term on the grounds that the offence jeopardised the safety of Siti and her family.
