JUTAAN TERIMA KASIH OutSyed The Box Crosses 40 Million Pageviews.

Today was an extremely long day. Just came into the office at 7 pm. 

Yesterday was another milestone of sorts. The blog crossed 40 million pageviews. A very close friend of mine in Shah Alam says its no big deal because he alone has visited the blog about a million times.

Without all the faithful readers the blog could not be where it is today.  Thank you all. Terima kasih banyak. 

Over the years I have met numerous blog readers, all of whom agree generally with the views expressed.   That is very comforting because obviously there are millions out there who are also keeping an eye on the asylum.   Its  not a lone wolf nut job thing. 


40 million readers is really a huge crowd out there. Plus 750 Followers.

Not everyone will agree with 100% of everything. That is not the point. 

It is more important that our community can say what it wants to say.  So long as there is a place / are places where the people can express or share their views freely and fully, the community has a better chance of avoiding mistakes and disasters.

I do have one confession to make. The discussion on the Quran and Islam is actually very, very limited.  It is actually self censorship. If the truth be known from the Quran, the blog may be down to about  200  readers only.  The Quran and your religion are just not the same things. More like oil and water.

Sadly people are so familiar with their comfort zones.  They do not want anything to threaten or  to shake up their core beliefs. So that subject has to be broached very carefully.   There are others who may be ready to be more bold in their thinking and not afraid to question things.  Maybe you will get some ideas from the blog.

Todate there are 7032 postings  and over  118,000 comments. That is a lot of interaction,  shared views and ideas.    The readership profile stretches across the entire spectrum of the country.   Who says English is an elitist language?
